We raised over £25,000 in community shares from 90 investors in our initial share offer.
We are ready to welcome new members to join our Society and invest in its future. We want as many people in our community to become Members of POD (as distinct from being our car users), so that they can be directly involved in the governance and also developing other shared transport projects.
Members are kept informed about the Society’s finances and vote on key issues such as the fees charged; environmental and practical decisions such as whether and when to move from using hybrid to electric vehicles; and developing new service offerings. Membership also allows you to stand for election to the Board of Directors.
